Russell Beck started his freelance career over thirty years ago at English National Opera. Between 1978 and 1989 he built for all the major theatre and production companies in the UK. In 1989 he set up the Russell Beck Studio and over the last two decades has built up a strong core team of makers, supported by freelance specialists and sub contractors including  the countries top scenic artists and sculptors. Over time the Russell Beck Studio client base has widened to include a diverse range of industries and media such as ;

Russell Beck Studio can provide high quality products satisfying both the designer and the production manager/buyer. We work to the highest standards, within budget and to a deadline.

Our props are not only thought out to the smallest of details - materials, weight, handling and structural integrity but are durable and easy and economic to maintain.

                    Good props must be practical to use, look good and stay looking good.

As well as fabrication we can offer additional services for example maintenance and project management tailored to suit the project or clients needs.

We enjoy working on a diverse range of projects utilising a wide range of skills including but not limited to the following:

Russell Beck Studio can work to a detailed brief from a designer or interpret a clients brief to develop a creative design. We can assist in the assesment of feasability of projects and offer advice on budgets.
